The essentials
What can I manage with Maziwa OS?
Milk sessions, individual animals, health and breeding records, customers, sales, income and expenses. The dashboard and reports bring these records together, while upcoming items help you keep an eye on care and follow-ups.
Can I use it without a constant internet connection?
The farm app is local-first: records are stored in the browser on the device you use. After the app has loaded, its offline support helps you continue everyday recording. Clearing browser data or changing devices can make local records unavailable; this is not a promise of cloud backup.
Does the app support Kiswahili?
Yes. The farm app is Kiswahili-first and includes an English/Kiswahili switch for its interface. Farm money is formatted in Tanzanian shillings (TZS). This marketing website is presented in English.
Is this website the working farm app?
No. This is a product information website, not the working farm app. It does not store farm records, create accounts or connect to a live farm.
Records & everyday workflows
How are milk records organised?
Milk entries are recorded per animal, date and session: morning, midday or evening. Each record includes litres and a destination or use. Milk collection has a separate workflow for quantities, quality grades, prices and collection status.
Can I keep customer and payment records?
Yes. Customer records include contact details and an opening balance. Sales record the customer, product, quantity, total and payment status. Payments can be recorded, but the app does not charge cards, transfer money or connect to mobile-money services.
What does the finance module show?
Income, expenses and profit calculated from recorded entries, with categories, dates, notes and amounts in TZS. These are operational summaries, not audited accounts or tax-compliance services.
What health information can I record?
Vaccinations, treatment, dipping or bathing, deworming, next due dates, notes and milk-withdrawal-until dates. Breeding and veterinary appointments also have records. Always follow a veterinarian and the product label; the app does not diagnose an animal.
Does it send reminders to my phone?
The confirmed workflow shows upcoming tasks and care items within the app. External SMS, WhatsApp, email and push delivery are not promised on this website.
Is the dashboard powered by predictive AI?
No predictive AI claim is made here. Dashboard summaries are calculated from entered records. The app also contains a local, rule-based assistant preview; it is not an external AI service or veterinary or financial adviser.
Storage, access & getting started
Can several devices automatically share the same farm?
The API offers optional best-effort full-snapshot synchronization for local development. It has no authentication or farm-member authorization, and a farm ID is not an access-control boundary. It does not provide production multi-tenant isolation or conflict resolution, so do not treat it as a secure shared cloud service.
Are my local records automatically backed up?
No automatic cloud-backup guarantee is made. Records are held in browser storage on the device you use, and API snapshot sync is not a backup or recovery service. Clearing browser data, losing the device or switching browser profiles can affect access. A production backup and recovery process would need to be established separately.
Can I sign up or enter farm data on this website?
No. This temporary website is a marketing and product-explanation site. It has no operational app login, checkout, farm-data forms or account-creation flow. Its imagery illustrates farm work, not live farm data.
What does the software cost?
No verified product pricing is published in the inspected software. This site therefore does not invent subscription plans, trial periods or payment terms.
